This is our little story so far…

Khyam and I met back in 2006/7 and we have been together ever since. A few breaks here and there but we always came back to each other…

Then we got engaged in July 2009.

We got Married on 26th March 2010 in Vegas and spent our honeymoon in LA, Vegas and New York for just over a month.

We moved into our new Place in June 2010.

I was alone a lot as Khyam was working nights and I really didn’t like being by myself at night. So for my 27th Birthday I got an extremely cute Puppy that we named Aoki. She arrived in April 2011.

Nothing much had happened since….  Our biggest Adventure Started…

It all started on 27th December 2011.

I just wasn’t feeling very well and was very tired but since I was on holidays and was having extremely late nights I didn’t really think anything of it. So this Tuesday I pretty much slept all day – only getting up to check on Aoki and have something to eat. I went from lying in bed to the lounge and then back to bed. So lazy but I’m a Koala at the best of times.  Also I was craving Pickled Onions. This wasn’t strange for me either – as I can pretty much eat them all in one sitting.

2.30pm came around and Khyam came home – I felt so bad that I didn’t do anything so I made myself take Aoki to the Dog Park.  I was feeling extremely light headed but I just put it down to me sleeping all day!  We didn’t stay too long but I still wanted Pickled Onions so I called into the shop on the way home. I was thinking to myself something must be up if I actually went to the shops just to get Onions… So I brought a 2pk of Pregnancy tests as well – you know just incase.

As soon as I got home I went straight up stairs to the toilet. Khyam was in the computer room and I was telling him that I was going to do a test as I had been feeling weird all day. I told him that it wouldn’t be I just wanted to make sure – I wasn’t due to have my period for a few days but these tests were early tests.  After I did the test I was waving it around as I was talking. Then as it was starting to change colour I placed it on the bench and washed my hands – talking to Khyam the whole time. I then returned to the test and there were two lines… I screamed, Khyam said ”What’s wrong” – we met in the hallway – I said, “I think we are pregnant.” He didn’t believe me.  Then we cuddled and cried. Then I was worried that my waving the test around might have voided the test. So I waited a few hours and yep… 2 lines….

We are pregnant!!
