First Midwife and Doctors appointment was on Thursday 15th March. I was soo nervous. I didn’t know what to expect. Khyam was able to come with me which was great. When I get nervous… I seem to have a lot of trouble making sense and I can never remember anything I’m told. I was also worried about how much weight I might have put on since Christmas… Since becoming pregnant I hadn’t gone to Zumba or Boxing. Now I don’t do much at all – only because I still feel extremely tired and just don’t have the energy. So I was more nervous about the weigh in- almost making myself sick thinking about it. As soon as my name was called by the midwife she got me to step on the scales… I had only put on 1.5k since Christmas!! OMG I was soo happy!! I thought it would have been about 20kgs.
But everything went great – They just asked us a Million questions about everything. I love the question – How often do you drink and smoke now while your pregnant?? Hmmm... We were sent home with a truck full of information!! I have looked at most of it now. Most of it doesn’t really apply to us as we are having twins. Only problem we had on the day was they wanted to do a scan but they never booked me in for one… which meant I had to go back the next day – without Khyam (Yep he missed out again!! *Sadface). In saying that though, I was lucky enough to have my Sister-In-Law, Sonya come along with me.
The scan went extremely well – the Sonographer said that he was very happy with their growth and that Twin A was still smaller then Twin B – by about one week. In the scans Twin A always looks bigger cos it's in a better spot then Twin B. He believes that we conceived them at different times. So we are pretty much having two separate pregnancies at the same time. Meaning that we must of have had sex about 6 days apart…. CRAZY!! We still didn’t find of their sexes but I don’t mind waiting. I’m pretty sure I know what we are having – So you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!
